I write code for the Java platform, but not necessarily in Java. I love the challenge of writing highly concurrent code, and designing my programs such that complexity goes down and reliability goes up.
I am or have worked on things like:
· A custom ELT system.
· A smart web-proxy for mobile web and WAP.
· Fabric, a remote automation tool written in Python.
· A fast and light-weight JDBC connection pool.
· A reporting system built on JasperReports.
· A custom single sign-on system.
· And integrating that SSO system with JasperServer.
