Ernst Poulsen started out editing websites around 1995 and has been in online journalism since 1998.
While studying at the Danish School of Journalism (1993-1997), he was editor of several websites, and he graduated in 1997 with a paper a paper/assignment in online journalism.
The following year he worked as a newsreporter at Politiken's Computer-section, but moved to the Jutland Post the following year. Here he worked the following 3-4 years as an online subeditor.
He founded the Danish Online News Association with a couple of fellow online journalists from the Jutland Post and was chairman for the first five years.
He presently works as commissioning newseditor (New Media) at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, where he has the economic and strategic responsibility for the various news-sections at www.dr.dk.
