Information and Media Science gave me a broad introduction to as different disciplines as Audience Research, Media Markets, Media Law and Regulation, Organisations theory, Technology history, Media Production, Programming, Design ect.
The primary value of the study looking back today was a strong focus on qualitative audience research - but also organization theory, have been highly usable.
I must stress that I never actually finished the last year of studies due to heavy workloads in a Internet company where I was co-founder and as a consequence of my job at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.
