Innovation facilitator - helping companies on open innovation and intrapreneurship
Copenhagen Area, Denmark
As a speaker, network facilitator and strategic advisor, I help companies on the topics of open innovation, intrapreneurship and how to identify and develop the people who drive innovation.
I believe in the power of networking and knowledge sharing and this has led to the initiation and facilitation of the INTRAP network groups for innovation leaders and intrapreneurs from global companies such as Bang & Olufsen, Danfoss, Grundfos, Lego, Novo Nordisk and Novozymes. In the virtual world, I run a community on LinkedIn (Leadership+Innovation) with more than 500 innovation people from around the world.
I also work as a strategic advisor and facilitator helping companies on the topics mentioned earlier. My work includes pioneering the first corporate version of a business plan competition designed to identify and develop intrapreneurs as well as new business ideas at the industrial giant, Danfoss. The program succeeded so well that it inspired other world-class companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Novozymes to undertake similar programs.
When I speak and facilitate workshops, I like to interact with my audience and I do extensive preparation to better understand how to establish a connection that leads to a good two-way discussion that makes it easier for the audience to relate my ideas and insights to their own issues.
My personal experiences as an entrepreneur having started four companies have been complemented with educational insights through the “Entrepreneurship Development Program” (EDP) at MIT.
I believe value creation starts with people–one by one, team by team. And these people should have a passion for their work, a willingness to help others and the integrity to do the right thing.
